I paint the stories you think you already know.

I’m a California based painter drawn to the strange, complicated, and often overlooked stories hiding inside American culture. Music. Sports. Advertising. History. The things we celebrate, the things we forget, and the things we’ve been told to see a certain way.

My paintings combine bold color, text, collage, and unexpected materials to pull those stories apart and put them back together differently.

I grew up surrounded by artists, including Disney animator Marc Davis, and storytelling has always been part of my DNA. Today, I use painting to make familiar things feel unfamiliar again.
